Privacy and Cookie Policy

For any privacy question or request, write to sales@techi.al with the subject “Privacy”. We process personal data in line with the Albanian law on personal data protection and, for visitors in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

• Contact form and emails. Name, email, phone and your message, to reply to you and prepare an offer. Legal basis: steps before a contract, at your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Meeting bookings. Name, email, company and the time you choose in our HubSpot calendar, to hold the meeting. Legal basis: steps before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
• IT Security Checklist and newsletter. Your email address, to send the checklist and occasional IT tips. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link.
• Job applications. The details and CV you send us, to assess your application. Legal basis: steps before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
• Clients. Contact details of the people we work with, contracts, tickets and invoices, to deliver our services and meet accounting and tax duties. Legal basis: contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
• Live chat. Your messages and the details you give in the HubSpot chat. It loads only after you start a chat or allow “Live chat”. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
• Analytics and marketing cookies. Pages visited, clicks, device, browser and approximate location, only if you accept them in the cookie banner. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
• Security logs. IP address, browser and time of each request, recorded by our hosting provider to keep the website secure and available. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f)).

We do not sell personal data, and we do not make decisions about you based only on automated processing.

We share data only with service providers that process it for us, under data processing agreements:

• HubSpot, Inc. (USA): CRM, contact and newsletter forms, meeting bookings, live chat and email.
• Google (Google Ireland Ltd and Google LLC): Google Analytics, only with your consent.
• Microsoft (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd and Microsoft Corp.): Microsoft Clarity, only with your consent, and business email.
• Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd: ad measurement through HubSpot, only with your consent.
• Amazon Web Services: hosting and delivery of this website.

We may also disclose data when the law requires it, for example to tax authorities or courts.

Some providers above store data in the United States. These transfers rely on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, plus the provider’s security measures. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards.

• Enquiries and meeting requests that do not lead to a contract: up to 24 months after our last contact.
• Client contracts, invoices and accounting records: as long as Albanian accounting and tax law requires, normally 10 years.
• Newsletter and checklist: until you unsubscribe.
• Job applications: up to 6 months after the position is filled, unless you agree that we keep them longer.
• Security logs: up to 90 days.
• Cookies: see the table below.

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We only use strictly necessary storage by default. Analytics and “Chat and marketing” cookies are set only after you accept them, and you can change your choice at any time with Cookie Settings at the bottom of every page.

You have the right to:

• access your data and receive a copy;
• correct inaccurate data;
• have your data deleted;
• restrict or object to processing, including direct marketing at any time;
• receive the data you gave us in a portable format;
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.

Send your request to sales@techi.al. We reply within one month. You can also complain to the Information and Data Protection Commissioner of Albania (idp.al) or to the data protection authority of the EU country where you live, for example the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali in Italy.

We protect personal data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), access only for staff who need it, two-step login on business accounts and providers that meet recognised security standards. No system is completely secure, so if a breach puts your rights at risk we will inform you and the authority as the law requires.

Our services are for businesses. This website is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change affects how we use data you gave us, we will tell you before it applies.
